Overview

Boathouse credits buy time with the Boathouse, Lake Pulse's team of lake scientists. One credit is one hour of expert time. That covers calls, written answers, prep, and follow-up.

What the Boathouse does. Helps you collect and interpret your lake's data: choosing sampling locations, reading results, understanding trends, and making sense of Lake Atlas information. The Boathouse is not a lake management consulting service and does not recommend specific treatments or applications.

How credits are used. Written answers are debited in 15-minute increments (0.25 credit). Calls are booked in 30- or 60-minute blocks. Before any work over 30 minutes, the Boathouse sends an estimate for your approval. Larger efforts become a fixed-price Data & Services project.

Where credits go. Credits belong to your lake's account. Your Lake Admin decides who can use them. Your balance and every use appear on your account page.

Who can buy. Plus, PRO, and Lake Admin subscribers. Purchased credits are valid for 12 months.

A specific question. "Our July phosphorus doubled; is that the sediment?" uses less time than "Is our lake healthy?"
Materials sent at least 48 hours before a call. Prep time counts toward your credits.
