LakeLevel is a rugged ultrasound sensor that measures water level from above the surface — no probe in the water, nothing to foul. It reads every 15 minutes, 96 times a day, to an accuracy of ±0.02 ft, and runs roughly ten years on its own battery at standard reporting frequency.
It mounts on a dock post, bridge, or boathouse in about fifteen minutes with no specialised training, connects over cellular or Wi-Fi, and is IP68-rated and CE and FCC compliant.

Lake level is the variable everyone on the shoreline notices and almost nobody measures. It gets recorded, if at all, as a mark on a post and a memory of what it looked like a few years ago. That gap matters in three specific situations: • Flood risk. The useful number is not the level, it is the rate of change. Ninety-six readings a day makes a rising trend visible hours before it becomes a problem for docks, boathouses, and low shoreline property. • Low water. Drawdown affects navigation, well yields, and littoral habitat, and it usually arrives slowly enough that nobody logs when it started. A continuous record turns "the lake seems low this year" into a number with a date attached. • Disputes and structures. Level records are what settle arguments about dams, outlets, control structures, and riparian rights — and they only count if they were being collected before the argument started. The measurement also underpins other work. Volume, residence time, and nutrient loading calculations all depend on knowing the level, and a paired well record shows whether the lake and its groundwater are moving together or diverging.
Lake Pulse sells measurement and monitoring — not treatment or remediation. What you buy here positions you to solve the problem, and to prove whether it worked.
